It will be 2 years on June 2 we got to start fostering Stanley and I believe it was June 7 or 8 we finalized the paperwork.  

These past 2 years have been wonderful. We lost our Stormy back in December of 2022. We also have a dash hound who will be 13 next month. She was just not herself after we lost Stormy to cancer. So we knew she needed a sibling. 

We were on the look out for a puppy we knew Reese wouldn’t except an older dog. She’s the boss. 🤣🤷‍♀️ so when I seen your post on the 5 puppies you had I knew I found the one. We were so lucky to get one. 

We named him Stanley Allen Birr. He’s been such a joy to our family but especially to Reese. She truly loves her brother. Plus he gets along with our 2 cats. They love his fluffy tail. 

He’s about 40 lbs so that’s a perfect size for us. I did get a DNA kit but haven’t done it yet. I’m not sure there’s any Corgi in him. You definitely see the Bernese mountain in him. He’s a very smart boy too. He’s very spoiled and a Mama’s boy.
