Gazpacho (donations needed!)
We are coming to our supporters for a huge favor tonight, and a time sensitive one. Last week we were contacted by our friends at LC4 about a dog with a serious leg injury (more than likely caused by being hit by a car as a stray). We made the decision to take this baby on.
Hes a young, 6 month old male lab/pitty pup, and is so friendly! We had to help, so we quickly consulted with the warden’s vet as well as the incredible Dr.Huff at Midway Animal Hospital Inc. and collectively decided amputation would be best. So this guy will go in tomorrow for that procedure. Special thank you to Midway Animal Hospital for always helping our pets in need, without hesitation.
This is a big surgery with high costs so any donations would be so appreciated. Gazpacho deserves nothing short of an amazing life in a forever home and this is the stepping stones to get him there
He is the sweetest dog despite his injury, and does well with children, dogs, and cats! He will be available for adoption after he’s healed. Foster to adopt would be the ideal situation for this incredible guy. Please consider donating as no amount is to small, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, especially Gazpacho❤️
Update 12/7 - Our sweet boy Gazpacho is going into surgery today, to fix his leg so he can live his best four legged life. He will be looking for his forever home once he recovers. Shoutout to Shoreland Animal Hospital for helping this little guy out and all our incredible donors who made this possible.
Update 1/12/23 - looking for a forever home after his knee surgery. 8 month old petite pitty who came into rescue with a broken patella. Our good friends at Shoreland Animal Hospital did his knee surgery complete with pins and little Spach (as his foster Mamas call him) is on the mend! He has no limitations and gets around just fine. He loves cats and dogs and is a little ray of sunshine! His foster Mamas have been working with him training wise and he is kennel and leash trained. He will ready by the end of the month for his forever home to approved homes. ❤️
